Eighteen girls live at the Makeba Rehabilitation Centre for Girls in Midrand. The centre has an IT room and a productive vegetable garden to keep them busy.

The Lighthouse Baby Shelter provides a safe haven for babies and children who have been abandoned. The shelter provides these babies with a warm home environment filled with love.
