Princess Alice Adoption Home – Johannesburg
BENEFICIARY: Princess Alice Adoption Home Johannesburg
|
The Princess Alice Adoption Home was founded in 1930 by Princess Alice, one of Queen Victoria’s 35 grandchildren. Today the home acts as a place of safety to 30 babies as well as being a home to pregnant girls in crisis who need to wait out their pregnancy, eventually giving the baby up for adoption, or keeping it. The funds were used to plant an indigenous garden at the home. |
